The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) will deploy nearly 2,000 personnel nationwide to provide assistance and help ensure public safety during the observance of Undas 2026.
According to a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, a total of 1,848 personnel, including 248 staff members and 1,600 volunteers are set to support Filipinos traveling to their hometowns and visiting cemeteries to remember their departed loved ones.
In a social media post on Thursday, Oct. 29, the PRC reminded the public to prioritize road safety and secure their homes before leaving for Undas.
Under its campaign, “Undas 2026: Safe Homes, Safe Journeys,” the organization urged travelers to take precautions on the road and ensure their homes remain safe while they are away.
“As millions of Filipinos travel home to remember their loved ones, the Philippine Red Cross reminds everyone to stay safe on the road and to keep your home safe while you're away,” the PRC said.
The organization also encouraged the public to remember their departed loved ones while keeping their families and fellow Filipinos safe during the annual observance.
The PRC reiterated its commitment to providing assistance to the public under its motto, “Always First. Always Ready. Always There.”
