

The Philippine Red Cross (PRC) has tended to a total of 464 patients during the ongoing Traslacion, reported the organization at noon on Friday, January 9.
Of the 464 patients, 10 suffered major cases, including deep lacerations and punctures, while 13 were transferred to a nearby hospital, the PRC announced as of 12:09 p.m.
PRC Chairman and CEO Richard Gordon thanked his staff and volunteers for their willingness to serve.
“This operation is made possible by our selfless staff and volunteers who serve with compassion and tireless dedication. I extend my deepest gratitude to each one of them for embodying the true spirit of humanity in service,” he said.
As of writing, devotees have positioned themselves by the Quezon Bridge in anticipation of the arrival of the image of Jesus Nazarene.
