Police Regional Office 3 (PRO3) arrested a total of 394 wanted persons in Central Luzon from January 1 to 20, 2026, following intensified and region-wide manhunt operations.
The arrests included 275 other wanted persons, 52 most wanted persons, and 67 individuals listed in the Top Ten Most Wanted Persons at the regional, provincial, and municipal levels. Police said several high-value targets were tracked down through intelligence-driven operations and close coordination among police units.
Notably, all regional-level top ten most wanted persons were arrested within 48 hours on January 2, underscoring the effectiveness of tracker teams and rapid information sharing across the region.
PRO3 Regional Director PBGEN Ponce Rogelio I. Peñones Jr. said the results reflect the police force’s sustained efforts to deny fugitives any safe haven, in line with the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) and the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) Focused Agenda to strengthen peace and order in Central Luzon.
