The Philippine National Police (PNP) has urged Senator Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa to surrender peacefully, a day before the deadline of its ultimatum to the former PNP chief.

In the report of RH Edniel Parrosa, PNP spokesperson Police Colonel Allen Rae Co appealed to Dela Rosa to avoid a potentially dangerous encounter with authorities, warning of possible injuries or fatalities during the operation.

“Let's end this with dignity on your part. Let's avoid any uncovered incident, any potential dangerous encounters, or any harm that may come to anybody,” Co said.

“We would like to avoid any injuries, any violent encounters and of course, pinakamasama na po is meron pong masawi dito sa operation,” he added.
