

The Philippine National Police (PNP) will place the entire country under heightened alert status starting midnight, October 29, in preparation for the observance of Undas 2025.
According to PNP spokesperson PBGen. Randulf Tuaño, the alert level will remain in effect until Monday, November 3, to ensure public safety and order during the long weekend.
A total of 50,253 police personnel will be deployed nationwide to secure cemeteries, transport hubs, and other key public areas, with 16,592 additional personnel from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP), and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) providing support. Around 45,712 force multipliers will also assist in crowd and traffic management.
In Metro Manila, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said it will closely monitor cemeteries and public areas not only for safety concerns but also for potential mass actions during the All Saints’ Day observance.
According to the NCRPO Spokesperson, PMaj. Hazel Asilo, 600 personnel are on standby in each police district to respond to any protest activities or security incidents.
The PNP urged the public to remain vigilant, to follow cemetery guidelines, and immediately report any suspicious activity to authorities.
