With millions of Filipinos expected to visit cemeteries for Undas, the Philippine National Police (PNP) is set to deploy 25,349 personnel to ensure public safety and maintain order, according to a report by RH 52 Edniel Parrosa.

In a press briefing at Camp Crame, PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf Tuaño stated that the National Police usually declares a ‘full alert’ before November 1, which refers to the highest level of readiness for the units, during which taking leave is prohibited.

Along with this, the PNP will also deploy 5,293 Police Assistance Desks (PADs) at cemeteries, memorial parks, and columbaria, to provide assistance and maintain order.

Police personnel are also on alert at transport terminals, especially with the expected surge of commuters.

If approved, the total deployment for Undas could reach as many as 56,000 personnel, including reinforcements from the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP), Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), and Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP).

Moreover, the PCG Commandant Admiral Ronnie Gil Gavan will implement a heightened alert from October 30 to November 4, 2025, for the "Oplan Biyaheng Ayos: Undas 2025."

Under this alert, PCG districts, stations, and sub-stations will enforce stricter monitoring and provide assistance at all ports and waterways.

The Undas refers to the observance of All Saints' Day and All Souls' Day, which are celebrated on November 1st and 2nd.
