Three senior officials have been reassigned in the latest reorganization of the Philippine National Police (PNP), following the retirement of the police force’s No. 2 official, Deputy Chief PNP for Administration Police Lieutenant General Bernard Banac.
Police Lieutenant General Wilson Joseph Lopez, who previously served as Deputy Chief PNP for Operations, will replace Banac as Deputy Chief PNP for Administration.
Meanwhile, former Chief Directorial Staff Police Lieutenant General Neri Vincent Ignacio will assume Lopez’s previous post as Deputy Chief PNP for Operations.
Police Major General Redrico Maranan, former director of the Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA), will replace Ignacio as Chief Directorial Staff.
The reassignment of the PNP officials took effect on September 25, 2026.
