The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Monday announced a leadership reshuffle involving several ranking officials, ordered by PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.

According to a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, in an official order released today, Police Brigadier General Paul Kenneth Tuhay Lucas has been designated as acting Director of the Special Action Force (SAF).

Meanwhile, Police Brigadier General Hansel Matamis Marantan has been appointed as acting Regional Director of the Police Regional Office CALABARZON.

Replacing Marantan at the Highway Patrol Group (HPG) is Police Brigadier General Jessie Tamayao, who has been designated as the HPG’s acting director.

The new designations took effect March 9, 2026.
