

The Philippine National Police (PNP) has recorded a total of 50 reported incidents involving Children in Conflict with the Law (CICL) in schools from June 16 to August 19, 2026, according to data from the PNP Public Information Office.
The incidents include 26 reported bomb threats, making it the most frequently recorded case during the period. This was followed by 12 shooting threats, four stabbing incidents, four cases involving the illegal possession of firearms, two shooting incidents, and two death threats.
The PNP data show that bomb and shooting threats accounted for the majority of the reported cases, highlighting continuing concerns over security and safety in schools.
Authorities continue to monitor incidents involving minors and coordinate with concerned school officials and other agencies to address threats and prevent further violence on school premises.
The PNP said the figures cover reported incidents from June 16 up to August 19, 2026, with a total of 50 cases recorded during the period.
