More than 50,000 police officers have been deployed nationwide as part of the Philippine National Police’s (PNP) heightened alert status for Undas 2025, with over 5,000 personnel assigned to transport hubs, cemeteries, and major thoroughfares to ensure public safety and smooth travel.

In coordination with the Department of Transportation (DOTr), the PNP has stationed personnel across airports, seaports, major terminals, and highways, as millions of Filipinos travel to their provinces for the annual observance.

In a report by RH 52 Edniel Parrosa on DZRH's Magandang Umaga Pilipinas, PNP spokesperson Police Brigadier General Randulf T. Tuaño said specialized units such as the Aviation Security Group, Highway Patrol Group, and Maritime Group have been mobilized to assist DOTr counterparts in maintaining order and responding to emergencies.

Police assistance desks have been set up in major transport terminals, while visibility patrols have been intensified to manage the expected influx of passengers.

Regional and local police units have likewise been tasked to secure provincial terminals, cemeteries, and columbaria. The PNP began its “soft deployment” on October 29 as part of its heightened security measures leading up to All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days.
