Bacoor, Cavite — The commander of the Police Drug Enforcement Group – Special Operations Unit (SOU) in CALABARZON has been relieved from his post following allegations of rape and robbery against 14 of his subordinates in Bacoor, Cavite.

PNP spokesperson PBGen Randulf Tuaño confirmed that the police colonel was removed due to “command responsibility,” emphasizing that leadership accountability extends to the actions of his personnel.

Eight of the accused officers, including the team leader, a police lieutenant, were arrested, while six others remain at large.

The allegations stem from a reported home invasion and sexual assault involving a Grade 9 student in Bacoor, which occurred on November 22, 2025, at approximately 7:45 a.m. The victim, an 18-year-old live streamer identified by the alias “Nena,” resides in Zone 6, Talaba 3, Bacoor City.

According to the Bacoor City Police Station, the arrested suspects include:

  3. PCpl Marvin Jae Francisco Abella

  4. PCpl John Michael Salita Aga

  5. PCpl Ronnie Garcia Lising

  6. Pat Jimmer I Domingo Vendiola

  7. Pat Crisanto Baraquiel Gicoso

  8. Pat Jefferson Veloria Calma

Six other suspects who belong to the same unit remain at large, according to the agency.

The arrests were carried out through joint follow-up operations conducted by the Intelligence Section of Bacoor CCPS, along with the Regional Intelligence Division, Regional Highway Safety Unit, and Regional Mobile Force Battalion. The operation was personally supervised by PLTCOL Alexie A. Desamito, Chief of Police of Bacoor CCPS.

Recovered from the suspects were multiple firearms loaded with live ammunition, the victim’s iPhone 13, a Toyota Innova, a yellow Mio i125 motorcycle, cash, and approximately 86 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of Php584,800.

The arrested officers are now in the custody of Bacoor CCPS, and documents are being prepared for filing with the City Prosecutor’s Office through inquest proceedings.
