The Philippine National Police has designated new regional directors for Bicol and Northern Mindanao, effective Thursday, Aug. 27, 2026.

Police Brig. Gen. Randy Glenn Guiriba Silvio, director of the Quezon City Police District, was designated as the new regional director of Police Regional Office 5 (Bicol).

Meanwhile, Police Brig. Gen. Nestor Cruzata Babagay Jr. was appointed regional director of Police Regional Office 10 (Northern Mindanao).

Babagay will replace Police Brig. Gen. Christopher Abrahano, who was designated officer-in-charge of the National Capital Region Police Office.

The designations were issued by the PNP under the command of Police Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr.
