Police Major Joericson Sangalang of the Philippine National Police (PNP) Firearms and Explosives Office took his oath as a witness during the 30th day of Vice President Sara Duterte’s impeachment trial on Monday, September 28.

Sangalang formally swore before the Senate impeachment court that he would tell the truth in his testimony.

His appearance formed part of the prosecution’s presentation of evidence as the Senate continued to hear Article II of the Articles of Impeachment, which covered allegations of “Unexplained Wealth, False SALNs, and Continued Business Interests” against the Vice President.
