Police were unable to serve an arrest warrant issued against Porac, Pampanga Mayor Jaime “Jing” Capil at his residential address in the province on Sunday.

In a report by RH 52 Edniel Parrosa, the warrant of arrest stems from seven graft charges filed against the mayor.

Speaking with DZRH, Pampanga Provincial Police Office Director PCol. Eugene Marcelo said authorities found the house vacant upon their arrival. Moreover, Capil was a no-show at the flag-raising ceremony in their town earlier today.

Other than his home and the municipal office, Capil has no other property in Pampanga, Marcelo said.

The Pasig Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 265 has ordered Capil’s arrest over his failure to regulate the Lucky South 99 Philippine Offshore Gaming Operator (POGO) hub.
