The Philippine National Police (PNP) is investigating additional complaints against vlogger Norman Mangusin, also known online as "Francis Leo Marcos," following his arrest at Camp Crame on Monday afternoon.
Mangusin was detained by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) over 12 counts of unjust vexation issued by the Parañaque Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 294. The charges stem from a complaint filed by fellow vlogger Mark Jayson Warnakulahewa, alias "Makagago/MG," related to online disputes between the two.
CIDG Director PMGen. Robert Alexander A. Morico II confirmed authorities are also examining other allegations against Mangusin, including fraud cases involving overseas Filipino workers (OFWs), use of fake passports and birth certificates, and impersonation using police uniforms. These are under investigation by the Anti-Fraud Unit.
Mangusin, who initially declined to comment, later expressed frustration over the charges, saying, “Unjust vexation lang, kung ipahiya nyo ako sa buong Pilipinas, para akong pumatay.”
His case is bailable at ₱120,000, but no bail has yet been posted. The PNP said it will continue to closely monitor developments and other pending complaints against Mangusin as the investigations proceed.
