The Philippine National Police (PNP) will deploy more than 141,000 personnel and force multipliers nationwide to ensure public safety and orderly travel during the Undas 2026 long weekend.
The deployment includes 73,034 police personnel, 16,560 personnel from other government agencies, and 51,578 force multipliers who will assist in security, traffic management, and public assistance operations across 5,311 cemeteries and columbaria, transportation hubs, and other key areas.
All PNP units will be placed under Full Alert Status from 12:01 a.m. on October 30 until 12:01 a.m. on November 3, as authorities anticipate heavy traffic on Friday ahead of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day on November 1 and 2.
“Alam natin na maraming pamilya ang bibiyahe sa Friday, kaya planuhin na natin ang biyahe ngayon pa lang. Umalis nang mas maaga kung maaari, check the traffic situation, and give yourself enough time,” PNP Chief Police General Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. said.
Nartatez also urged the public to secure their belongings, watch over children and senior citizens, and seek police assistance when necessary.
