The Philippine National Police (PNP) has declared the killing of pro-Marcos vlogger Alicia Lipata, also known as “Mima Alicia,” as “case solved” despite three suspects remaining at large, officials said.

According to a report by RH Edniel Parrosa, PNP Chief Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said authorities have arrested two gunmen and an alleged middleman linked to the killing of the 24-year-old victim.

Nartatez had earlier identified two masterminds behind the attack, with investigators pointing to a possible motive related to the victim’s alleged debts.

Police said they have gathered sufficient evidence to establish the circumstances of the crime, prompting the classification of the case as solved even as operations continue to locate the remaining suspects.

Authorities have also ruled out political motives, setting aside earlier speculation that the killing was connected to Lipata’s activities as a pro-Marcos vlogger.

The PNP said efforts are ongoing to track down and arrest the three remaining suspects, including the alleged masterminds.
