The Philippine National Police (PNP) Drug Enforcement Group arrested a drug dealer on Monday, April 26, in Dasmariñas City, Cavite.

PNP chief PGen. Debold Sinas identified the apprehended suspect as Michael Lucas, alias 'Boy Muslim'. The suspect has been involved in illegal drug operations for more than two years.

Authorities also seized around 10 kilograms of suspected crystalized methamphetamine, locally known as shabu, estimated to be worth around Php 68 million

Sinas said that Lucas receives his supply of illegal drugs from a Chinese national detained at the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, and the 35-year old suspect distributes 10 to 15 kilograms of shabu in various areas.

"This is the result of the PNP’s intensified campaign against illegal drugs. We will continue to arrest drug personalities nationwide for a drug free community," Sinas said on Tuesday, April 27.
