Netizens just can’t get enough of Eman Bacosa, playfully dubbed “Piolo Pacquiao” for his resemblance to matinee idol Piolo Pascual—and for following in the footsteps of his father, boxing legend Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao.
The rising boxing star—already with an impressive record of seven wins, one draw, and no losses, with four knockouts under his belt—has fully embraced the Pacquiao legacy while making a name for himself. The 21-year-old reportedly began boxing at age 10 and has been trained by Pacquiao himself.
On October 29, he won a unanimous decision victory over opponent Nico Salado at Thrilla in Manila 2, held in commemoration of the 50-year anniversary of the historic bout between Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier.
Following the victory, clips and photos of Eman made the rounds on social media, and everyone is smitten.
“Boxingero na pala si Piolo,” one comment on a Tiktok fan video read.
“Piolo Pacquiao is the new hottie,” another declared.
“Panahon na ata para maging Jinkee,” a netizen said, referring to Manny Pacquiao’s wife.
Some even took to likening Eman to a romance novel series character named Niccolo Sanvitores, a Jiu-Jitsu champion and love interest.

He may have turned heads for his good looks, but Eman is proving he’s got the skill and drive to match—with his growing fanbase and promising boxing career, this “crush ng bayan” is here to stay.
