Binibining Pilipinas bet Sasha Lacuna continues to gain momentum at The Miss Globe 2026 as she maintains her lead in the second round of the Miss Social Media online voting in Thailand.
The Filipino beauty queen topped the first round of voting, securing one of the 10 spots in the next phase. As of the second day of Round 2, Lacuna remains ahead of her fellow delegates in the Instagram-based poll.
Aside from her online performance, Lacuna also secured a spot among the Top 10 performers in the swimsuit presentation held in Phuket on November 3. She likewise advanced to the Top 12 of the Head-to-Head competition and the Top 25 of the Talent Competition.
The second round of Miss Social Media voting will run until November 6 at 11 a.m. (12 noon Philippine Standard Time), with new Instagram followers accounting for 95 percent of the scores and engagements making up the remaining five percent.
Filipino supporters can also help Lacuna through the People's Choice online voting, where the winning delegate is guaranteed a spot in the Top 10.
A total of 52 delegates are competing for the international title, with the coronation night scheduled for November 6, when reigning queen Cheraim Chayathanus Saradatta of Thailand will crown her successor.
Lacuna aims to bring home the Philippines' third Miss Globe victory, following the back-to-back triumphs of Ann Colis in 2015 and Maureen Montagne in 2021.
