The Philippines’ Red Spiegelman concluded her Miss International Queen 2026 journey in the Top 6 during the pageant’s coronation night held Saturday, September 19, in Pattaya, Thailand.
Spiegelman advanced to the Top 6 alongside representatives from Colombia, France, the United States, Japan, and Thailand but fell short of securing a spot in the final Top 3.
During the question-and-answer segment, Spiegelman was asked how she would separate friendship from competition when facing defeat.
Emphasizing the importance of sisterhood, she said another woman’s dream can also become her own.
“It might be my dream, but it’s a sister’s dream as well,” Spiegelman said.
She further described her participation as a victory in itself, highlighting the importance of transgender women’s visibility and advocacy.
“This is a win already, being here on this stage, because we are visible and we are voicing out the things we’re fighting for,” she added.
Spiegelman wore a black ensemble by Filipino designer Chico Estiva during the evening gown segment. Her performance earned her a spot in the Top 12, where she competed in the two-piece swimsuit round.
The final Top 3 consisted of the United States, Japan, and Thailand.
Lo Colby of the United States ultimately captured the Miss International Queen 2026 crown, securing a historic back-to-back victory for her country. She succeeded fellow American Midori Monet, who won the title in 2025, marking the first consecutive wins by one country since the pageant began in 2004.
Thailand’s Theerachaya Pimkitidaj was named first runner-up, while Japan’s Saki Iwai finished as second runner-up.
The 2026 edition featured 27 transgender women from different countries competing for the prestigious international title.
The Philippines has previously won the Miss International Queen crown three times, with Kevin Balot claiming the title in 2012, Trixie Maristela in 2015, and Fuschia Anne Ravena in 2022.
