The Philippines clinched its second gold medal at the 2025 Southeast Asian Games on Wednesday in Thailand after winning the women’s 4x100-meter freestyle relay.

The quartet of Kayla Sanchez, Chloe Isleta, Xiandi Chua, and Heather White delivered a dominant performance, touching the wall at 3:44.26 to secure the top spot on the podium.

Singapore settled for silver with a time of 3:46.53, while Vietnam completed the podium with 3:47.47.

The latest triumph adds to the country’s growing medal haul at the Games, following Justin Kobe Macario’s earlier gold in poomsae.

It also marks the Philippines’ second medal in swimming after Gian Santos claimed silver in the men’s 200-meter individual medley.
