The Philippine delegation is now complete in Dakar, Senegal, after the final batch of Filipino athletes arrived ahead of the 2026 Youth Olympic Games, the Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) said.

The latest arrivals at Blaise Diagne International Airport included Pi Durden Forward Wangkay and Naomi Marjorie Cesar of athletics, Jade Justin Justiniane of windsurfing, and Maritanya Krog of cycling, along with their respective coaches and team officials.

They were welcomed by Philippine Chef de Mission Raul "Rocky" Samson and other members of the delegation.

The four athletes are scheduled to begin their respective campaigns on Nov. 8.

Krog will compete in the women's road race, while Cesar is set to see action in the women's 800-meter semifinals.

Justiniane will compete in men's windsurfing from Nov. 8 to 12, while Wangkay is scheduled to race in the men's 200 meters on Nov. 10.

The arrival of the final group completes Team Philippines' buildup for the Games, where the country's young athletes will compete against their counterparts from around the world.
