The Philippines’ total fuel inventory stood at 53.71 days as of May 1, 2026, according to Energy Secretary Sharon Garin, indicating a stable supply outlook across major petroleum products.
In a press briefing on Monday, Garin said gasoline stocks were sufficient for 52.64 days, while diesel supply covered 54.58 days.
Kerosene registered a significantly higher inventory level at 166.67 days.
Other fuel types also showed adequate levels, with jet fuel at 71.14 days.
Meanwhile, fuel oil at 62.69 days, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) at 40.46 days.
“Basically, it shows now we have 53 days on average to find replenishment for what we consume so there is enough time for us to procure more,” Garin said.
She added that the current figures suggest stable demand conditions and no disruption in supply deliveries from oil companies.
“It also shows that our consumption is steady, but is’s lower. There’s been a decrease on the consumption or on the demand but also that there is no problem as to the deliveries that oil companies are getting,” she said.
