A wage increase of ₱65 will take effect in the National Capital Region (NCR) on July 25, Labor Secretary Francis Tolentino said on Monday, July 20.

In an interview on DZRH’s Dos Por Dos, Tolentino said the initial ₱65 hike, set for implementation this month, will be followed by a further ₱20 increase scheduled for February next year, completing the approved ₱85 wage adjustment for workers.
