Authorities destroyed over ₱5.1 million worth of marijuana plants during a two-day eradication operation along the Sadanga, Mountain Province–Tinglayan, Kalinga border on March 13–14.

The operation uncovered a plantation covering approximately 1,500 square meters, containing around 25,500 fully grown marijuana plants.

Personnel from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Mountain Province Provincial Office, in coordination with the Sadanga Municipal Police Station, Mountain Province PNP Provincial Intelligence and Drug Enforcement Units, and the Second Provincial Mobile Force Company, uprooted and completely burned the entire plantation.

The high-impact eradication campaign was conducted under OPLAN Parapay. No marijuana cultivators were apprehended during the operation, but authorities continue to coordinate with the Mountain Province local government to identify and investigate the landowner and those responsible for planting the illegal crops.
