

An alleged drug dealer was arrested and over ₱1.2 million worth of illegal drugs were seized following a successful buy-bust operation in Lucena City, Quezon province.
In a Wednesday report by DZRH correspondent Benjie Antioquia, Quezon Philippine National Police (PNP) Provincial Director PCol. Romulo “Bong” Albacea said authorities confiscated 180 grams of suspected “shabu” or methamphetamine hydrochloride valued at ₱1,251,000 based on standard pricing.
They also confiscated the ₱1,000 bill used by operatives in the buy-bust operation.
The suspect, alias “De Leon,” came to the meet-up spot on his single motorcycle. He was apprehended at around 8:15 p.m. in Purok 1, Barangay Bocohan.
De Leon is currently under the custody of Lucena City police and faces charges related to Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
