Over 57,000 fully grown marijuana plants, with an estimated street value of ₱11.4 million, were uprooted and burned by joint law enforcement forces in Tinglayan, Kalinga.
The eradication operation was conducted on July 31, where authorities said the marijuana plantation covered an estimated land area of 3,800 square meters.
No marijuana cultivators were found during the operation, according to authorities.
The Cordillera Police Regional Office said it is continuing its investigation to identify the individuals behind the illegal cultivation of marijuana in the area.
