Joy Romina Marcelo, Annette Gozon-Valdes, and Kuya Kim Atienza have expressed support for Filipino actor and model Alden Richards following allegations by social media personality Christian Albert “Xian” Gaza involving a condominium unit and six luxury watches.
In a video posted on Friday, October 23, Gaza alleged that Richards had continued staying in a condominium owned by a wealthy couple, despite initially being allowed to use the property temporarily during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Gaza also claimed that Richards had borrowed more than 10 luxury watches from the husband over four to five years, with six allegedly remaining unreturned.
“Alden, mas scammer ka pa pala sa akin, nakakaloka ka!” Gaza said in the video.
He further claimed that Richards had said the six watches were no longer in his possession when asked about them.
“At nung tinatanong siya, Mars, kung nasaan na yung anim na relo, alam mo, ano ang sagot? Wala na daw sa kanya,” Gaza said.
The allegations have not been independently verified.
Amid the controversy, Marcelo shared a social media post praising Richards’ generosity and willingness to help others without expecting anything in return. Her post included a group photo with the actor.
“He gives generously, loves sincerely, and shows up for others with a heart that expects nothing in return,” Marcelo wrote.
“Never let someone’s cruelty overshadow the goodness of a man whose greatest strength is the love he gives,” she added.
Gozon-Valdes also vouched for the actor’s character, citing his generosity and willingness to share his blessings.
“Alden is generous to a fault and we can attest to his character. He is beyond blessed and he shares his blessing abundantly. Period,” she wrote.

Meanwhile, Atienza recalled Richards’ contribution to a fundraising effort for his friend, fitness enthusiast Ed Kalaw, who was battling cancer.
“When we were raising funds for my friend [Ed Kalaw] who was dying of cancer, Alden donated 1M selflessly with no need for acknowledgement,” Atienza wrote.
“Just putting it out there,” he added.

The allegations involving the condominium and luxury watches remain unverified.
