The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) reported that a total of 109 ports nationwide were affected by Super Typhoon Uwan between 4:00 AM and 8:00 AM today, November 9, 2025.
Due to the severe weather, 6,679 passengers, drivers, and cargo handlers remain stranded across various ports, along with 3,249 rolling cargoes, 82 ships, and 23 motorbancas.
Meanwhile, as a precautionary measure, 447 ships and 316 motorbancas temporarily sought shelter to avoid the impact of the typhoon.
Authorities continue to monitor sea conditions and urge travelers and maritime operators to exercise extreme caution amid the ongoing storm.
