President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. on Easter Sunday, March 31, called on all Filipino Christians to follow the life of Jesus Christ, particularly in how he shared blessings with the poor and vulnerable.
“Let us draw inspiration from this important narrative as we overcome our personal and spiritual challenges. May this day also excite our hearts to live a Christ-like life, especially in sharing our blessings in whatever form to the poor, the sick and the downtrodden,” he said in his message released by the Presidential Communication Office.
