President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is asking all members of the Cabinet to submit their courtesy resignations.
In a report by Leth Narciso, the President said it is time to "realign the government" to meet the expectations of the people.
"This is not business as usual. The people have spoken, and they expect results—not politics, not excuses. We hear them, and we will act," the President said in a press release.
Marcos is requesting all Cabinet secretaries to submit their courtesy resignations to allow a thorough evaluation of each agency and determine who deserves to continue serving based on the administration's priorities.
According to Marcos, the move is not about personality but about performance and immediate concerns. He emphasized that those who continue to perform will be recognized, but warned that the time for complacency is over.
The President also assured the public that government services will remain unaffected during the transition period.
