

The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) has postponed its scheduled games on Sunday, August 9, due to severe weather conditions.
In an announcement, the PBA said the decision was made to prioritize the safety of its fans, players, officials, and staff.
“In light of the severe weather conditions, and with the safety of our fans, players, officials, and staff as our top priority, the PBA has decided to postpone its Sunday, August 9 games,” the league said.
The postponed games are Phoenix Super LPG Fuelmasters vs. Rain or Shine Elasto Painters and Barangay Ginebra San Miguel vs. Blackwater Bossing.
The PBA said the updated schedule for the postponed games will be announced soon through its official channels.
The league also urged the public to take necessary precautions and stay safe amid the severe weather conditions.
