

The Philippine Basektball Association (PBA) imposed fines on 10 players involved in 'ligang labas' games.
PBA slapped a Php 10,000 fine on Jio Jalalon of the Magnolia Chicken Timplados Hotshots, who already earned a suspension and fine from his mother team as per reports.
Jalalon previously violated the policy of the PBA in 'ligang labas' games in 2020.
Beau Belga of the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters, and JR. Quinahan of the NLEX Road Warriors, meanwhile, each received a total fine of Php 70,000,
The league slapped the two players with a Php 50,000 for playing at an exhibition match in Cebu, and a Php 20,000 fine for their involvement in an in-game brawl that marred the said event.
Two other players of the Elasto Painters, Rey Nambatac, and Jhonard Clarito, also earned a fine of Php 50,000 apiece.
PBA also dropped a fine worth Php 50,000 to the Converge FIberXers pair of Alec Stocton, and Barkley Ebona; San Miguel Beer teammates Vic Manuel, and Allyn Bulandi; and Arwin Santos of the Northport Batang Pier.
PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial decided on the fines after speaking with all the involved players.
