

TNT took control of the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup semifinals with a commanding 102-83 victory over Meralco in Game 4, putting the Tropang Giga just one win away from the finals in the best-of-seven series.
Poy Erram led TNT with 27 points, supported by Jordan Heading’s 15, along with Oftana’s 14, and Aurin’s 10.
Meanwhile, Williams, Galinato, and Ferrer each added seven points, while Ganuelas-Rosser scored six. Khobuntin contributed four, Jalalon and Nieto two each, and Hill added one. Nambatac, Pogoy, and Enciso did not score, but TNT’s balanced attack proved unstoppable.
For Meralco, Banchero led with 19 points, while Hodge and Cansino scored 17 each. Caram and Black added eight points apiece, and Almazan chipped in seven. Quinto scored three, Maliksi and Rios two each, and Bates and Jose did not score.
TNT held a slim 20-19 edge in the first quarter and led 45-38 at halftime. A dominant third quarter, 27-18 in TNT’s favor, pushed the lead to 72-56, and the Tropang Giga maintained control to close the game at 102-83.
With the series now at 3-1, TNT needs just one more win to secure a spot in the Philippine Cup finals, while Meralco faces a must-win Game 5 to stay alive in the best-of-seven semifinals.
