The northbound lanes of Pasig Boulevard – C5 and C5 Boni Serrano Flyover will be reopened for public use a day earlier than scheduled, announced the Department of Public Works and Highways National Capital Region (DPWH-NCR).

Initially scheduled for completion on the morning of Tuesday, November 3, the Pasig Boulevard – C5 and C5 Boni Serrano Flyover will be open for use by the evening of Monday, November 2.

Meanwhile, the southbound lane of the Pasig Boulevard – C5 Flyover will be reopened after 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday.

Newly-installed DPWH Secretary Giovanni “Banoy” Lopez and former Secretary Vivencio “Vince” Dizon previously ordered the repair and resolution of safety issues of the said flyovers during Undas or the All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days so that fewer motorists would be affected by road closures during the long weekend.

The quick repair was conducted in line with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to expedite the strengthening of bridges so as to minimize the inconvenience that may be experienced by travelers returning from their provinces.
