A fire that struck the Pampanga Public Market in Angeles City was declared under control at around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, September 16.

At around 10:21 p.m., DZRH reporter Federicov Manalili Jr. reported that the fire reached the fifth alarm.

According to his report, the entire market was engulfed by the blaze at the fourth alarm, as firefighters and fire volunteers fought to extinguish the conflagration.

Details as to the extent of the damage, possible casualties, and the cause of the fire have yet to be disclosed.
