Malacañang on Wednesday assured the public that President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. is in good condition and that there are 'no threat' to his life, aside from a previous remark made by Vice President Sara Duterte.
Claire Castro said during a press conference on Wednesday.
Castro clarified that the President has simply been preoccupied with private meetings in Malacañang in recent days, explaining his absence from public view.
She dismissed speculation about the President’s absence, stressing that it was only coincidental.
Interior and Local Government Secretary Jonvic Remulla earlier announced that the President is in a "secured facility" monitoring the situation of the September 21 anti-corruption protests.
