Malacañang has announced a half-day work schedule for government employees on Holy Wednesday, April 1, with a work-from-home (WFH) arrangement in the morning.
Palace Press Officer Atty. Claire Castro said on Tuesday, March 31, that government employees may work from home from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Work in government offices will be suspended from 12:01 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on April 1.
“April 1 for all government employees tomorrow, (Wednesday), 8 o'clock to 12 noon WFH, 12:01 pm hanggang 5:00 wala na pong pasok,” Castro said.
The early suspension of office work aims to give employees ample time to prepare for their trips to their respective provinces and observe the Holy Week traditions.
