

The Malacañang has issued new proclamations declaring multiple special non-working days in December to allow communities to celebrate local festivals and founding anniversaries.
Under Proclamation Nos. 1099 and 1101, December 12 is a special non-working holiday in General Trias, Cavite, for the city’s 10th anniversary, while December 29 is a holiday in San Pedro, Laguna, to mark its 12th cityhood anniversary.
Proclamation Nos. 1098 and 1100 declare December 10 as a special non-working day in Meycauayan, Bulacan, for its founding anniversary, and December 13 in Aringay, La Union.
In addition, Proclamation No. 1102 sets December 16 as a special non-working day in Calatagan, Batangas, in commemoration of its founding anniversary.
Meanwhile, Proclamation No. 1103 designates December 15 as a special non-working day in San Jose, Oriental Mindoro, in commemoration of the 81st Liberation Day of Mindoro Island from Japanese occupation.
