Malacañang has assured the public that sufficient supplies of medicines for illnesses that may be contracted from floodwaters are available, including doxycycline for leptospirosis.

Palace Press Officer Claire Castro said the Department of Health has assured the administration that medicines for flood-related illnesses are available.

The Palace also urged the public and local authorities to report any medicine shortages to the DOH or the Presidential Communications Office so these can be promptly addressed.
