

The Shear Line is affecting the eastern sections of Southern Luzon and the Visayas, while the Northeast Monsoon is affecting the rest of Luzon on Monday, February 2.
According to PAGASA’s 4:00 a.m. weather bulletin, the Visayas, Sorsogon, Masbate, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, and Surigao del Sur will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms caused by the shear line.
The rest of Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.
Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to the Northeast Monsoon.
Forecast Wind and Coastal Water Conditions
Luzon and the Visayas will have moderate to strong winds moving in a northeast direction, with coastal waters expected to be moderate to rough.
Mindanao will have light to moderate winds moving from the northeast to northwest, with coastal waters expected to be slight to moderate.
