The state weather bureau is monitoring two low-pressure areas (LPAs) inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Wednesday morning, July 29.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said both weather disturbances are unlikely to develop into tropical depressions within the next 24 hours.

As of 8 a.m., the first LPA, designated as LPA 07e, was located in the vicinity of Baao, Camarines Sur, inside the PAR.

“As of 8:00 AM today, 29 July 2026, the Low Pressure Area (LPA 07e) is being monitored inside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is ‘unlikely’ to develop into a tropical depression within the next 24 hours,” PAGASA said.

PAGASA said the LPA may bring rains over Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, parts of Cagayan Valley, MIMAROPA, and the Bicol Region as it moves across Southern Luzon.

Meanwhile, the second LPA, or LPA 07f, was located about 1,580 kilometers east of Eastern Visayas, outside the PAR.
