The Pag-IBIG Fund released a total of ₱111.2 billion in housing loans from January to September 2026, marking a 15% increase from the amount released during the same period last year.
During an interview with DZRH's Dos Por Dos on Friday, Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy Chief Executive Officer Alex Aguilar said the agency continues to expand the Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) Program to provide more Filipinos with access to affordable homeownership.
Under the expanded 4PH Program, qualified low-income earners can avail themselves of socialized housing loans with interest rates as low as 3%, making homeownership more affordable. Monthly amortizations are estimated to range from ₱4,000 to ₱5,000.
Meanwhile, qualified middle-income members can benefit from a promotional interest rate of 4.5%, further broadening access to affordable housing financing.
