Senator Robin Padilla stressed that he has no conflict with any of his colleagues in the Senate, amid ongoing institutional discussions and internal political turmoil within the chamber.
In a statement posted on Facebook, Padilla emphasized respect for fellow senators and underscored that the Senate should remain a venue for debate and democratic discourse rather than personal confrontation.
“Wala po akong kaaway sa Senado at lalong hindi po ako naghahanap ng gulo,” Padilla said, adding that he greets all his colleagues in plenary, regardless of political affiliation, with respect.
He also highlighted that disagreements in the Senate are part of democratic processes and should not be taken personally, saying the chamber is a place for sensible debate and exchange of views.
“The senado po ay lugar ng debate at katwiran… Ang isyu at mga sagutan ng mga namumuno sa Senado ay simbolo ng demokrasya,” he stated.
Padilla further said he does not see himself as a judge of internal Senate disputes, stressing his focus on legislative work and public service.
He ended his post reaffirming his commitment to his role as an elected official, saying he serves the Filipino people rather than personal interests.
