After a four-year hiatus from power punches and swift footwork, Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao is still in fighting shape as he prepares to go for gold on July 20, 2025 (Manila Time) against Mario Barrios in Las Vegas, Nevada.
In a Facebook post, Pacquiao shared a glimpse of his preparations for the upcoming bout, following a long-haul trip from Los Angeles to Las Vegas.
“Touchdown Vegas. Day 1 grind. #TeamPacquiao,” Pacquiao wrote.
Pacquiao's comeback to the ring also carries a major mission — to reclaim the WBC welterweight championship title currently held by Barrios, while aiming to break his own record as the oldest welterweight champion.
Meanwhile, Filipinos continue to rally behind the Pambansang Kamao, wishing him the best of luck and a safe fight.
