The Office of the Vice President (OVP) said it has yet to receive a copy of the Commission on Audit’s (COA) October 5, 2026 resolution on its Motion for Reconsideration concerning the Notice of Disallowance on its fourth-quarter 2022 confidential expenses.
In a statement, the OVP said it had anticipated the possibility of the decision and was prepared to respond through the appropriate legal and institutional channels.
“The office has already anticipated the possibility of this decision and has prepared to respond through the appropriate legal and institutional channels,” the OVP said.
The statement comes after COA denied the OVP’s appeal involving the disallowed confidential expenses.
“Nevertheless, the OVP remains committed to fulfilling its mandate—to develop and promote programs that uplift the lives of the Filipino people,” the office added.
