The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has warned the public against individuals falsely claiming to be employees or authorized representatives of the agency.
In a public advisory, the OVP clarified that it has never had any dealings with or conducted any visit to an individual identified as Nievefe Numeron.
The office also stressed that it has no projects or programs requiring individuals to sign contracts in exchange for a certification concerning any form of liability.
“Walang naging ugnayan o pagbisita kailanman ang OVP sa indibidwal na si Nievefe Numeron,” the office said, adding that no such arrangement is part of its programs or services.
The OVP urged anyone who has experienced or witnessed similar incidents to immediately report them to the nearest police station.
It also asked complainants to provide the office with a copy of the police report to facilitate an investigation into the incident.
