Over 99,000 passengers flocked to the Paranaque Integrated Terminal Exchange (PITX) ahead of All Saints’ Day.
As of 2:00 PM on Friday, October 31, RH Noche Cacas reported that thousands of passengers had arrived at the said terminal. However, the PITX management said they are expecting around 180,000 to 190,000 passengers to pass through the landport for Undas 2025.
Based on the report, most people in the terminal are headed to Bicol and other places located in the north.
Meanwhile, Cacas reported that PITX personnel had also confiscated prohibited items from passengers, such as: flammable items like lighters and butane gas, construction tools, and scissors.
Despite the influx of passengers, Cacas reported that not everyone in the terminal will be traveling to the provinces, as some of them will be coming to Manila for Undas.
As of writing, no untoward incidents have been reported at the terminal. Police personnel from Parañaque are also patrolling the premises, alongside the Philippine Coast Guard’s (PCG) K9 Force, to ensure the security and safety of passengers.
As of 4:00 PM, the number of passengers at the terminal had risen to 120,554.
