

One plantation worker died after a bomb explosion at a rubber farm in Barangay Mangal, Sumisip, Basilan.
According to a report by RH 19 Jun Dimacutac, the two suspects are already in the custody of the Sumisip Municipal Police Station (MPS).
The explosion resulted in the death of a plantation worker who was also a resident of the area. The victim was rushed to the hospital but was declared dead on arrival.
The Sumisip MPS and barangay officials held a meeting to discuss the incident.
The Provincial Explosive and Canine Unit (PECU), the Provincial Forensic Unit, and the 32nd Infantry Battalion of the Philippine Army also conducted a post-blast investigation to determine the cause of the explosion.
Authorities said that the incident may be linked to an internal conflict within the farm. The evidence gathered led to the arrest of two suspects.
Meanwhile, the two suspects will face appropriate charges.
